The Role
The Head of Finance is the number one finance position within the organisation, working closely with the CEO, investors and Board and providing exceptional visibility and exposure across the business. This is a broad leadership role requiring an individual who can take ownership of the commercial and operational finance agenda from day one, providing high-quality insight, challenge and support to senior stakeholders and playing an active role in the organisation’s growth journey.
With a capable and stable finance team overseeing much of the day-to-day BAU activity, the successful individual will have the capacity to further strengthen financial reporting, controls, governance, risk and compliance. Crucially, however, the immediate value-add will come from commercial finance, operational finance and high-quality Board and investor reporting, helping to improve decision-making and support the organisation through its next stage of development
Finance Director and Chief Financial Officer Progression & Development
The role provides an excellent platform for career progression, with the opportunity to develop into a Finance Director position in the short to medium term and, longer term, progress towards Chief Financial Officer.

What You'll Bring
- Qualified Accountant - ESSENTIAL
- 5 Years+ post qualification experience
- Strong advisory experience within corporate finance, transaction services or restructuring - ESSENTIAL
- The employer is willing to consider a first time mover into industry from the above advisory paths or a 2nd time mover who can demonstrate strong exposure in one of the above advisory disciplines
- Exposure to private equity is preferred
